The Results are in!

Karla Briceño ran today with 20,000 women (and a few men) in the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco. It was a beautiful chilly day for a marathon, the event went very smoothly, and the course was breathtaking. She ran hard, and finished with an excellent time. A big thanks to all of you who have helped support Saint Columbkille students this year, through giving at runningforsaintcolumbkille.blogspot.com, and by returning our sponsor a scholar pledge envelopes that went out with the school newletter. Your support means an excellent education for our students. Thank you.

Running for Saint Columbkille

Many schools say their Principal goes to great lengths, but at Saint Columbkille we have an exact figure: 13.109375 miles! This fall our Principal Karla Briceño will be competing in the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco, to raise money for Saint Columbkille School. She has been training all spring and summer, and is in the final stages of preparation for her event.
You can help her on her path to a victory for St. Columbkille by clicking the donate button below and pledging a dollar or two for every mile she runs.
$1 per mile =$13.11
$2 per mile =$26.22
$4 per mile =$52.44

100% of the proceeds will go to Saint Columbkille school, and as always your donation is tax deductible. If you are in the San Francisco area, please consider attending the event on October 18th and cheering Ms. Briceño on to victory for our school.
